Autoclave Engineer / High Pressure Fittings

High Pressure Fitting
Parker Autoclave Engineers High Pressure Fittings are designed for demanding fluid and gas applications requiring secure, reliable, and high-strength connections. The fittings use a coned-and-threaded connection system to provide strong mechanical performance, dependable sealing, and repeated make-up capability in high-pressure tubing systems.
Parker Autoclave Engineers is widely recognized for high-pressure systems used in applications exceeding 150,000 psi. However, the actual working pressure of each fitting depends on the selected series, tubing size, material, temperature, connection configuration, and application conditions.

The fitting range includes medium-pressure connections from 1/4” to 1-1/2” up to 20,000 psi, while selected high-pressure series are rated up to 40,000 psi, 43,000 psi, or 60,000 psi depending on tube size and connection type.
Anti-Vibration Connection Option
For tubing systems installed near pumps, compressors, or other equipment that may create vibration or shock, Parker Autoclave Engineers offers Anti-Vibration Collet Gland Assemblies.
These assemblies provide additional tubing support while maintaining the pressure-handling capability of the fitting connection. They are interchangeable with standard Parker Autoclave Engineers high-pressure connections and are suitable for applications where unsupported tubing lines may be exposed to vibration.
Adapters and Couplings
Male/female adapters are available to connect different fitting sizes or connection types. Adapter couplings can also be used to join different Parker Autoclave Engineers tubing connections within the same high-pressure system.
For adapters with two different connection ratings, the final pressure rating follows the lower-rated connection.
Compatible High Pressure Tubing
For safe and reliable performance, Parker Autoclave Engineers fittings should be installed with Parker Autoclave Engineers specified tubing. The manufacturer cautions against mixing fittings, tools, or tubing with products from other manufacturers because doing so may affect safety, product performance, and warranty coverage.

Important note: Before publishing, it is better to verify the existing claims for 5/16” tubing size, -423°F to 1,200°F temperature range, and the universal 150,000 psi statement against the exact Parker product series or full datasheet. The uploaded condensed catalog specifically details fitting ranges up to 60,000 psi for selected sizes and series.
